Reviews
My old time favorite- repeat visit for last 10 years.
One of the Best tonkatsu.
Parents and kids love it here.
After navigating the challenges brought about by the COVID era, this specific Saboten outlet not only endured but emerged as a resilient survivor, recently welcoming a new branch into its fold. Recognized for its exceptional Japanese Pork Cutlet, the restaurant remains steadfast in its commitment to culinary excellence.
The spotlight falls on the pork cutlets, masterfully prepared to perfection, offering a tender delight to the palate. Saboten's unique touch becomes evident with the addition of aromatic sesame, elevating the overall dining experience and introducing a touch of sophistication to the dish. However, what truly sets Saboten apart is its unwavering dedication to utilizing premium Japanese rice, establishing itself as a leader in the pork cutlet realm. The incorporation of high-quality ingredients raises the bar for dining experiences, surpassing competitors.
Beyond the savory realm, Saboten's kids' meal emerges as a hidden gem, presenting an affordable yet satisfying option. The commitment to ample servings ensures that even the youngest patrons can enjoy a fulfilling meal without straining their parents' wallets.
As the sole survivor post-pandemic, this Saboten outlet not only endures but excels, maintaining its well-deserved reputation for delivering top-tier Japanese Pork Cutlet experiences. With meticulous attention to detail, an infusion of fragrant flavors, Saboten proudly continues to stand tall as a symbol of quality in the ever-evolving landscape of pork cutlet restaurants.
been going to Saboten for > 13 years... even since my son was born becos he's a huge fan. food and service (at this outlet) is of good quality and polite and mostly friendly. so why 1 star rating? cos they charge for tap water. Shame on you for this practice.
Tonkatsu was juicy and crispy
Saboten is a great place to bring the kids. They have a special kids' menu with ebi fry, karage and ice cream. The pork cutlets are really good. The meat is tender and juicy The breading is light and crispy, and the perfect complement to …
Saboten has been our go-to place for comfort Japanese food after a hard day at work. We typically try to visit at least once a month, and our experience has always been consistent. The rice served stands out among those in other similar restaurants and keeps you wanting more.
We want to also point out that Kevin and Geri from the service crew has been exceptional. Over the many occasions that we visited, we often bump into them and they could not be more polite, sincere, and hospitable. There are a treasured group in the F&B industry.
We look forward to more good times to come.
the food as always, never fails to be delicious. they serve many types of tonkatsu (chicken, pork etc). their service was excellent, and the food was served quite fast. the atmostphere is not bad, just might be a little noisy sometimes as the place is quite small.
